This
part of the theory shall not be understood as a
alternative or in conflict with the prevailing
theory of the cause of atmospheric low pressure It do only show that we
have overlooked something. This fact become especially clear
when we so fare has failed to understand the cause of a
hurricanes quit and sunny eyes. More about this in the next
chapter, and why aa inner low pressure of a hurricane can
become so huge.
The force of gravity contributes to the strengths of a atmospheric
low pressure.
Even a
cloud has in its centre a certain (small) amount of space
vacuum (read the Introduction) and will therefore contract 'space' in its
inner area proportional with its surrounding amount of
matter. Exactly the same is thing happens in a large systems
of clouds. The force of gravity therefore contribute to the
low pressure that emerge. It's of course a weak force
that we not are able to register on the level on each cloud, but on a huge
scale it's a important factor.
If there are many clouds, and especially if the clouds are
compact, big and heavy, this will cause the clouds
(seen as a whole) to create a common, tangible SV (gravity
centre), and contribute to contracts cloud systems together.
