Electromagnetism
Electromagnetism is not caused by
space in motion.
But space in motion pulls free
electrons and exposes the electromagnetic force. This will be further
covered in the chapter: 'Quantum physics'.
Space
in circulating motion.
The
Danish scientist HC.Oersted has shown that a compass needle is at a
right angle to the electric current. This
reveals to us that that the space (of such an electromagnetic
field) around an electric cable, does not move forward in a
straight line, but circulates around in a counter
clockwise direction.
What
a compass actually shows us is that when space moves through the compass
it will, at magnetic north, get attracted to a greater flow of space
flowing in a certain direction. It can be compared to the flow of water
from a small stream running out in a larger river.
The Magnetosphere
Based
on this simple theory it is possible to understand what really happens
here on earth. We know that the magnetic strength of the magnetosphere
of the earth depends on how strong the solar wind is.
We also know
that the solar wind carries a magnetic field. Based on the assumption that the
solar wind is a flow of space, we can easy understand how the solar wind/storms
increase the strength of the earth magnetosphere.
The earth
itself also has a magnetic field, and will attract the magnetic field of the
solar wind. This means that the flow of space from the sun will move through the
magnetic field of the earth and thereby reinforce the earth’s magnetic field.
The Magnetosphere is quite simple to understand.
Protuberances of the
Sun
At the sun we have the so-called
Protuberances
moving plasma
with up to 80.000 Km/t out in space. This will
certainly create / reinforce space in motion.
The magnetic
field is up to 1000 times stronger in these
Protuberances
than
the main magnetic field of the sun. This show that
space is moving out from the sun, - (and ends up like the solar
wind).
But it also
means that space must move into the sun.
The Sun
We
know that the Sun, for short periods of time, has 2 magnetic fields, one
in each hemisphere. But only a small imbalance is likely enough to force
out one of those fields and cause a global field to soon appear. It is
the strong circulation of space (plasma) that is responsible for the
Sun’s ability to quickly return to a global united magnetic field, i.e.,
only one magnetic south pole and one magnetic north pole. The plasma can
be compared to the effect electrons have to an electromagnetic field.
The
conclusion is simple; the faster circulation of plasma at the Suns
equator must be responsible for the circulation of space at the
surface. The dynamo is driven by fast motion of plasma that pulls space
behind it self, and therefore induces a circulating magnetic field.
